Bio:

Theresa joined Christian Family Solutions as a Graduate Level Intern in 2023. In 1997, she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota. She worked as an early childhood and elementary school educator in Lutheran schools for 18 years before transitioning into a career in counseling. Theresa is pursuing her masters in Licensed Professional Counseling though the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh.

Theresa has experience working with multiple levels of care related to eating disorder recovery including Outpatient, IOP, and PHP. She feels blessed to have the opportunity to intern at a Christ-centered agency where she can work together with clients toward the hope and healing that is found in God’s grace. She utilizes behavioral therapies coupled with scripture to help her clients build resilience and reach goals as they work towards emotional and mental well-being.
